Concert Choir, Cantori, and the Chamber Singers have served as ambassadors of the Armstrong Choir Program for decades, showing their level of commitment to making music to thousands of audience members. Armstrong students have performed with the King’s Singers, Doc Severinson, Minnesota Youth Symphony, Oratorio Society, Minnesota Chorale, Cantus, and the Minnesota Orchestra. The Concert Choir has been invited to perform for choral festivals at St. Olaf College, Concordia College, Luther College, UW Eau Claire, and at Carnegie Hall. Ensembles have also been featured at several national, regional, and state-level music conventions including two venues at the 2004 MENC National Convention in Minneapolis, the 2001, 2005, 2013 Minnesota Music Educators Convention, in the 2006, 2011, 2014 ACDA Choral Arts Finale Festival, and for the NCACDA Convention in 2012.

Concert Choir Spotlight on Classical MPR 99.5 FM, 9/30/14
Throughout its history, Classical Minnesota Public Radio has shared local classical music treasures on the radio and, more recently, the Web. MPR hosts are proud to showcase some of the region’s vibrant musical activity, from university choirs to summer chamber music festivals, community orchestras to wind ensembles. We are delighted that this is the second time Armstrong choirs have been a chosen feature on MPR. |

On Monday, Nov. 19th, Cantori and Concert Choir sang the Minneapolis Convention Center Auditorium as part of hte Robbinsdale School District Fall Festival with Cooper choirs. The Concert Choir performed selected movements from Mozart's Requiem and Cantori performed Eric Whitacre's Five Hebrew Love Songs. Way to go, choirs...you make Armstrong proud!
